In this blog, we will learn about Microsoft Azure in the following order:

  1. Why cloud computing?
  2. Was ist Cloud-Computing?
  3. Azure-Jobtrends
  4. What is Microsoft Azure?
  5. Azure Services
  6. Azure pricing
  7. Azure Certifications

Let's start then

Why cloud computing?

10 years ago companies stored everything internally, i. H. on their own servers. But over the years, as internet speeds got better and better, people discovered a new way of storing everything, the "cloud" method! what is cloud To understand what cloud is, let's first understand why it came into the picture, or you can also join oursMicrosoft Azure Cloud Engineer CertificationCourse!

Before cloud, companies stored everything offline; H. Websites hosted on their local servers and added more servers as needed. But there were some issues with this type of setup. What were the problems? Let's discuss them with an example in this Azure tutorials blog:

  • You own a company running a very successful website and let's imagine the 'cloud concept' hasn't been adopted at this point. Therefore, your website was hosted on the on-site servers. Seems normal right?
  • One fine day, you added a new feature to your website that became an overnight hit. Now your traffic increased exponentially and the inevitable happened, your website crashed!
  • Whoa! That hurts, doesn't it? Well, you obviously couldn't foresee that, and even if you did, there's no way you could've spent and bought the necessary servers in such a short amount of time. Why? Well, servers aren't cheap guys, they are veryVERYexpensive.

Azure Tutorial | Cloud Computing with Microsoft Azure | Edureka (1)

Let's assume you can afford that many servers, but are you sure you're going to experience that much traffic every day? After you have bought the servers and the next day your traffic has gone down, what are you going to do with those servers now? They will be idle most of the time and therefore become a bad investment on your part.

Now let's summarize the problems with the private model in this Azure tutorial with this example:

  1. This facility is expensive.
  2. Your servers will be idle most of the time.
  3. Every machine will fail one day, maintaining these many servers becomes a tedious task.

To overcome these problems, we had to develop a new infrastructure model. That's why we came up with Cloud. With cloud computing, all of these problems have been solved! How?

  • Put your data on cloud server and you are done! No more buying expensive servers.
  • scalability! Your server capacity will be scaled up or down according to traffic, that too automatically.
  • Your cloud provider manages your servers, so you don't have to worry about the underlying infrastructure.

We now understand why cloud computing was needed in this Azure tutorial, let's move on and understand what it is exactly.

Azure-Tutorial: Was ist Cloud Computing?

It is the use of remote servers on the internet to store, manage and process data instead of a local server or your PC.

Save on computer:Store large or small files in the cloud that you can access on the go!

Administer:Manage your data with optimized databases in the cloud.

Procedure:With scalable computing power in the cloud, you can process any amount of data in a few moments!

Basically you do all these tasks i.e. H. "Store, manage and process" not on your PC or your private data center, but in the public cloud, and that's what cloud computing is all about. You can learn more fromAzure Architect Certification.

There are basically 3 categories in cloud computing:

  • SaaS (Software as a Service)
    • It allows companies to use software without buying it, which drastically reduces the company's hassle since it is already installed on the cloud servers, it can be deployed quickly, thus saving time.
  • PaaS (Platform as a Service)
    • It allows developers to build applications and collaborate on projects without having to buy or maintain infrastructure.
  • IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
    • It enables companies to rent servers, storage space, etc. from a cloud provider.

Because there are so many benefits of cloud computing, it was only a matter of time before companies realized its market potential. So today we have many cloud providers.

Azure Tutorial | Cloud Computing with Microsoft Azure | Edureka (4)

Today in this Azure tutorial blog I am going to talk about Microsoft Azure which is an IaaS. First, let's discuss why you're learning Microsoft Azure.

What is Microsoft Azure?

We talked about the cloud services in this Azure tutorial, right? A company that provides these cloud services is called a cloud provider. Well, there are many cloud providers out there, one of themMicrosoft Azure.

Microsoft Azureis a cloud computing platform created byMicrosoftthat developers and IT professionals use to build, deploy, and manage applications across their global network of data centers.

Azure Services

Microsoft Azure offers various services that would help you with computing in one way or another and these services are grouped into domains. Here are some notable domains:

  • Calculate
It is used to process data in the cloud by using powerful processors that serve multiple instances at the same time.
  • StorageServices
The storage, as the name suggests, is used to store data in the cloud with the ability to scale as needed. This data can be stored anywhere.
  • Database
Database domain is used to provide reliable relational and non-relational database instances managed by Azure.
  • Networking
With it, you can connect to cloud and on-premise infrastructure and services for a great user experience

There's a plethora of services you'll want to check out, you can check out this stackAzure resourcesto no more.

Azure pricing

This could easily be one of the most popular reasons to learn and use Microsoft Azure. For people who are new and want to learn more about the technology, Azure offers youfree creditswhich can be used to access Azure services for free for a limited time. That's enough for a start.

Azure is extremely flexible and offers aPay-as-you-go-Ansatzwhich can greatly help you to meet your business needs. Flexible pricing greatly supports scaling up or down the architecture as needed.

This was about Azure prices. Now let's continue with this Azure tutorial and discuss what kind of certifications Azure has to offer.

Azure Certifications

Microsoft Azure aims to close the skills gap between industry needs and available resources and has taken the following actions to do so:

  • Introduce role-based certifications
  • Deliver a tailored experience
  • Make certifications easy and discoverable
  • Get more industry recognition for the certifications on offer

They have divided Azure certifications into three main categories:

These certifications have levels where one must first earn an Associate-level certification and then use that as a stepping stone to the Advanced-level certification.

Azure Tutorial | Cloud Computing with Microsoft Azure | Edureka (8)What is the Azure portal?

The Azure portal, as the name suggests, is a single portal or connection that allows you to access and manage all your applications in one place. You can build, manage, and monitor everything from simple web apps to complex cloud applications in a single, unified console.Learn more about Azure and its applications atAzure course.
